Brooklyn Youth Chorus
For five years I served as Production and Events Manager for the Grammy-Award-Winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus. I oversaw both self-produced events (full theatrical works, tours, academy recitals), and contracted events such as TV appearances, sports events, galas, recording sessions, and more. Highlights include:
Collaborations with Toshi Reagon, David Byrne, The National, Fatoumata Diawara, Shara Nova, Nathalie Joachim, Helga Davis, and more
Producing full theatrical works, from commissioning composers to assembling creative teams to coordinating load-ins at off-Broadway and regional theaters (New Victory, ASU Gammage, Kennedy Center, National Sawdust, UNC Chapel Hill)
Overseeing recording sessions with The National, Phillip Glass, Wye Oak, Ty Braxton, Metropolis Ensemble William Brittelle
Providing accessible digital infrastructure for students to continue learning and performing remotely during COVID-19 pandemic
